Our estate office, and wee shop, can be found at Bridge of Dye Steading, Strachan, Banchory, AB31 6LT. Most properties are a short walk from here.

By car.
From the south, follow the A90 from Dundee towards Aberdeen and exit at Edzell heading to Fettercairn. Once you reach Fettercain follow the B974 over the Cairn O’Mount towards Banchory. Enjoy the stunning scenery as you reach the top of the Cairn, and as you head back down the other side you will find us at the Bridge of Dye just after the snow gates at the bottom of the hill.
From the north, drive into Banchory and head south at the lights towards Strachan, on reaching Strachan turn left at the signpost to Fettercairn (B974) and follow the road for about 10 minutes, you will find us at the Bridge of Dye just before the snow gates.
By plane.
Aberdeen Airport is 40 minutes away, you can either hire a car from there or we can help arrange a taxi to collect you.
Edinburgh Airport is around 1 hour 40 minutes away and car hire is available there or we can help arrange a taxi to collect you.
By train.
Stonehaven or Aberdeen stations are the closest, and we can help arrange a taxi to collect you from either.
Your reservation is confirmed when you have paid a deposit of 50% of the total cost, if you are booking more than 6 weeks in advance. The rest of your booking needs to be paid for 6 weeks before your stay.

Couples will most enjoy The Bothy (sleeps 2) or our smaller places such as The Hay Loft or No. 2 (all of which sleep 4).
Small groups and small families are suited to almost all of our places, excluding The Bothy.
Larger groups may look to book The Coach House (sleeps 12), or book a combination of properties depending on group size.
Glen Dye can sleep around 60 guests across all of our properties if a full estate takeover is what you’re looking for.
No, although we always recommend staying more than one night to enjoy the best of Glen Dye.

Each house, apart from Gamekeeper’s Cottage, comes with private access to its own wood-fired hot tub. You will also get unlimited firewood for fireplaces and fire pits.
You will have access to roam and explore this beautiful estate.
Linen, towels, and some cleaning products are also included with all bookings. All utilities are included in your stay.
Yes! We are dog friendly.
We just ask that they do not go on furniture, sofas or beds. Please bring poo bags for around the estate and surrounding areas, too.
Our regular change-over days are Mondays and Fridays in most cases.
Please check your preferred property calendar for seasonal check-in days.

Corner House is the most accessible property with an ensuite shower room off the master bedroom and is all on one floor.
Number 2, 4 and 5 all have bedrooms on the ground floor beside a family bathroom, however they all have over bath showers.
